Bucket Fountain
1967
Placed in a pool, situated a short walk from the Liver building is
the gushing sculpture. The buckets fill from water running from the
large uprights, tipping over periodically. Very 1960's. Scultptures
like this elsewhere have been dismantled following complaints that
they sounded too much like flushing toilets. This one survives, complete
with viewing platforms and an african shield.
