| Eleanor Rigby Tommy Steele 1982 This is easy to miss if you visit the world famous Mathew Street and Cavern. Yet I think this is one of the loveliest statues in Liverpool. Eleanor Rigby is pictured sitting alone on a city bench - the sculpture being dedicated to all the lonely people. Its usually tradition to put flowers in her hands, but sadly it was late November when I took the picture so there weren't any.
